A century in formentera
Our history started in Es Caló de Sant Agustí more than 100 years ago, and today we continue in our small and beatiful village of seafaring tradition, generation after generation.
More than 50 years of experience
in the tourist accommodation sector
It was our great-grandfather who (in 1928) built the windlass that was used to lift the goods to and from the weekly cargo boat that sailed between Ibiza and Formentera. This wonderfully hand-crafted device, the image of our company, can be seen perched next to the fishing boat sheds in the small harbour of Es Caló. It was lovingly restored in 2006 and our family is hugely proud that this now serves as a unique part of the Heritage History of Formentera.
This determination of spirit our great-grandfather embodied, has championed the dedication of three successive generations to the management of holiday bungalows and apartments. We warmly welcome our guests to share in a unique and unforgettable experience in Es Caló, which captures the true essence of the village itself, Formentera, the Balearic islands and the Mediterranean Sea. An essence rich in tradition, sea air, scents of thyme and rosemary, salt and sand. This is the essence of Es Caló.
